Three locations; 4862 Cordell Ave in Bethesda, MD; 199 East Montgomery Ave in Rockville, MD; and 7727 Tuckerman Lane in Cabin John, MD. Huge burritos with delicious fillings. If I was a condemned prisoner, I'd choose a California Tortilla for my last meal. - Dan Taqueria Serrano Forrest Drive Annapolis, MD I attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. After completing a summer of basic training, the first semester of classes began, and my first weekend liberty (free time to go out on town) approached. I asked a helpful sophomore where I could get some good mexican food. I managed not to break down in tears when he responded, "There's a Chile's right by the Harbor 9 movie theater." So began three-and-a-half years of torture. Every time I went home on leave, my first meal was a burrito, but the times in-between were hard. Finally, near the end of my second-to-last semester, I found a decent taqueria in Annapolis. I was discussing the woeful lack of mexican food with a fellow west-coast native when another interrupted and told us about Taqueria Serrano. This conversation took place on a Friday, and I ate a burrito for dinner that night. I don't know the exact address of Taqueria Serrano, but it is located on Forrest Drive, just east of Solomon's Island Drive. They probably wouldn't be able to stay in business if they were competing with taquerias in the mission district, but they are still pretty good.
