Everyone seems to have a favorite burrito spot. But it's not like having a
favorite color or NPR reporter. People get downright emotional about it. In
fact, Pedro Grande, co-owner of Taqueria Cancun in San
Francisco, reports that it's not uncommon for grown men to weep tears of joy -- the salty droplets mixing with smeared gobs of
sour cream on their faces -- while quietly downing one of his freshly rolled
super burritos.

In order to prove to the IRS that our ¡Burritos! travel expense deductions were
legitimate, we included a chapter in our book that highlights our favorite
taquerias, called "The World's Best Burritos: The Joy of Not Cooking". Read
about three of these taqueria landmarks below.
Taqueria #1: Taqueria Cancun
San Francisco Mission
District luminary
Taqueria #2: El Tepeyac Café
The single best reason
to visit Los Angeles
Taqueria #3:Taco Loco
The best burritos east
of the Mississippi
Got an opinion? Please tell us about your favorite taqueria or favorite
burrito. What's so great about it? What do you like on it? Pintos, black
or refried? Super or regular? How do you feel when you take the
first succulent bite?
You get the point. Dazzle us!
We'll pick our favorite burrito write-ups every couple of weeks and
publish them on the site.
As more write-ups come in, we'll expand our listings so you'll be able to find
a highly recommended taqueria almost anywhere in the country. Help us make
sure your favorite is not overlooked.
